Sørsetra

Sørsetra is beautifully situated on an embankment at Krokskogen in Nordmarka, midway between Sollihøgda and Sundvollen. It is a favorite destination on foot, by bike or on skis, summer and winter. Inside you will find a pleasant cafe, where you can enjoy something to eat or drink.

Opening hours

Sørsetra is open all year round, with the exception of the month of July.

Friday-Sunday: 11:00-16:00. In the winter season: 10:00-16:00.

Wednesday: 12:00-20:00 when ski season.

Public holidays/red days: 11:00-16:00. Please see Sørsetra's Facebook page for updates on public holidays.

The cafe can be opened at other times, if you want to bring a school class or a company on a trip here.

Directions

Sørsetra is located midway between Sollihøgda and Kleivstua, approx. 6.5 km north of Sollihøgda. The place is easily accessible by ski, bike or on foot. See Google Maps for more detailed directions.

Parking

It is possible to park your car in the car park at the barrier approx. 3.5 km from Sørsetra. From there it is a 30-minutes walk. If the barrier is opened, for example if there is a party at Sørsetra, it is also possible to park at Sørsetra.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to Sørsetra is called Sundvollen E16. From there you can walk to Sørsetra in just under two hours.
